Library Student Employees Make a Difference

Asbury University - Kinlaw Library student assistants are very important members of the Kinlaw Library staff. The tasks they perform are critical to the efficient and successful operation of the library. Whether at a service desk, on the phone, or performing other tasks or projects, student employees are very important and appreciated. What is your job title?
 Curriculum Lab Assistant
In what section or unit of Kinlaw Library do you work?
    King Curriculum Lab
What is your student job in a nutshell?
  I assist anyone who needs help finding resources or using supplies in the Lab.
What are you working on right now?
  I am currently working on typing up a list of books we are discarding to make room for new ones.
How long have you been at Kinlaw Library?
  46 days and counting.
Have you held any other jobs with Asbury University?
Do you have a favorite accomplishment at Kinlaw Library?
  I am pretty proud of my color-coded organization of the bulletin board border.
What is your major, and intended date of completion?
   English Education in December 2015.
What career/s are you interested in?
   Teaching English to middle and high school students.  Also Pro-Knitting.
What are your passions or interests outside of work and school?
I love reading, Captain America, Pintresting, knitting, Lord of the Rings, watching movies, Star Wars, crocheting, hanging out with my friends and family, Big Ban music, Harry Potter, Christmas, Dr. Who and Jesus.   Not necessarily in that order.
What is the last book you read, or the last book you loved?
  The current book I am reading is Blood of Olympus, the last in the Percy Jackson series.  By Rick Riordan.
