Library Student Employees Make a Difference

Asbury University - Kinlaw Library student assistants are very important members of the Kinlaw Library staff. The tasks they perform are critical to the efficient and successful operation of the library. Whether at a service desk, on the phone, or performing other tasks or projects, student employees are very important and appreciated. What is your job title?
 Circulation Desk Student Assistant
In what section or unit of Kinlaw Library do you work?
Circulation Desk
What is your student job in a nutshell?
I assist people at the Circulation Desk, I check out and renew books.  I clean and organize my assigned sections of the Library.
What are you working on right now?
Fall decorations for the Library.
How long have you been at Kinlaw Library?
One and a half years.
Have you held any other jobs with Asbury University?
Yes.  I make pizza in the cafeteria.
Do you have a favorite accomplishment at Kinlaw Library?
Creating fun decorations and designing the bulletin board.
What is your major, and intended date of completion?
I am an elementary and special education major and I expect to graduate in May of 2017.
What career/s are you interested in?
I want to teach students in grades K-3.
What are your passions or interests outside of work and school?
I love working and playing with kids.  I enjoy playing soccer and really hope to go back to Bolivia.  My hobbies are cooking and baking.
