Two more weeks of classes - Don't Panic!

Study wisely and smartly.  Don't panic.  Make a schedule.  Get some solid sleep.

We will be posting these and other wise tips in the next several posts to help you out.   And don't forget to ask for help if you need it!   Come to the Library, grab some coffee, and relax in a comfy chair.   Then get back to work!   :-)

Late night study - Farm Boys Room

Late night study hours are set.  Also, check our Hours page for days and times. 



Monday – Thursday, April 28th – May 1st  
Sunday – Wednesday, May 4th – 7th
 
Time will be 11:50pm to 2:00am each night

  •  Late Night Study will be held in The Farm Boys Reading Room of the Library (bottom floor, adjacent to the computer lab)
  • Students wishing to participate need to be in the reading room by 11:50 pm. This is not designed to be a come-and-go space. The entirety of the Library will be closed, with only this space dedicated to the extended hours accessible. You are free to exit at any time but participants need to be in the Reading Room by 12:15.
  • You will need to bring your Asbury ID card to participate.
  • If you are a student living in the residence halls, please be sure to sign-out via Community Hour procedures

 Also, just a reminder – once again, the entire library building will be open from 4:00pm to 11:50pm on the Sunday before Finals Week (May 4).

Library Week is coming - BIG CELEBRATION!

We here at Kinlaw Library are very excited about next week!  It is National Library Week (April 14 - 18).   We are going to celebrate!  There will be clowns and bowling and fireworks...  No - wait.  Not those.  But we will have these:
  • Trivia contest each day with daily prizes
  • Candy and goodies at the Circulation Desk (cupcakes!)
  • Display of books that have influenced prominent Christians
  • Book marks of your favorite student workers (collect all 10!)
